Theory of Operation
spirit level sensor vials, optical sensors for self levelling systems These vials operate in the same way as conventional spirit level vials, the main difference being that the position of the bubble is detected opto-electronically rather than by the eye of the user.  As the bubble position changes, the movement can be measured and used to provide information of level and angle to the controlling system.
