No. 83 High Precision 360° Inclinometer (Clinometer)
Supplied as standard with a hardened combined flat and 'V' base and a wooden box for protection.  In use, the worm is disengaged by depressing the micrometer drum, and the vial assembly is rotated manually until the vial is approximately level.  Fine adjustment is then made by rotating the micrometer drum until the vial is perfectly level.  The angle is then read off the scale in degrees and minutes.

No. 81 High Precision 360° Pendulum Inclinometer (Clinometer)
Supplied as standard with a hardened combined flat and 'V' base and a wooden box for protection.  In use, the drum pendulum moves under the effect of gravity, and the angle can be read from the drum and vernier scale in degrees and minutes.  There is an optional magnifier to enable the vernier to be read more accurately.  There is a locking knob to fix the drum after settling, and the entire unit is sealed to stop the ingress of dirt or dust.

No. 86 General Purpose 360° Inclinometer (Clinometer)
A general purpose 360° inclinometer which can be fixed to an instrument or used free standing.  The main body is rotated by hand until the vial reads level, and the angle can be read from the scale to approximately 0.5° accuracy.  It is supplied in a protective plastic case.

No. 90 High Precision 90° Inclinometer (Clinometer)
A 90° inclinometer with horizontal and vertical flat and 'V' surfaces which can be used to measure and set angle.  The vial assembly is rotated by hand until the vial reads level, and the angle is read from the degree and vernier scale to within 10 minutes (0.1°) accuracy.  It is supplied in a protective wooden box.
