No. 83 High Precision 360° Inclinometer (Clinometer) |
Supplied as standard with a hardened combined flat and 'V' base and a
wooden box
for protection. In use, the worm is disengaged
by depressing the micrometer drum, and the vial assembly is
rotated manually until the vial is approximately level.
Fine adjustment is then made by rotating the micrometer drum
until the vial is perfectly level. The angle is then read
off the scale in degrees and minutes.

No. 81 High Precision 360° Pendulum Inclinometer (Clinometer) |
Supplied as standard with a hardened combined flat and 'V' base and a
wooden box
for protection. In use, the drum pendulum moves under the
effect of gravity, and the angle can be read from the drum and
vernier scale in degrees and minutes. There is an optional
magnifier to enable the vernier to be read more accurately.
There is a locking knob to fix the drum after settling, and the
entire unit is sealed to stop the ingress of dirt or dust.
