Smart Tool level and digital SmartTool module

The Smart Tool is based around an electronic module which can display angle over a full 360° range with a resolution of 0.1°. It is available as either a stand alone module or as a 60cm or 120cm long levelling tool. The module can be used as supplied, or it can be panel mounted into your product or equipment. The SmartTool levels can be used in a variety of applications as both a conventional level and as an angle setting or measuring tool. Most levels see the world as level or plumb, but with the SmartTool angles over a full 360° range can be measured. So installing a deck, stair rail, extending a roof or determining how much an old floor has sagged is easier and less time consuming.
It is built from high strength materials, and is designed to withstand the everyday wear and tear that tools receive on site. It can even be reset to factory accuracy at the touch of a button.

The Smart Tool is also simple to use. Just press the 'On/Off' button and the SmartTool will show you the angle of any surface with decimal point accuracy. The display even flips over with the level, so the Smart Tool always reads 'right side up', and it shuts off automatically after 5 minutes when not in use. All this from a standard 9-Volt battery.

The SmartTool gives you roof pitch readings as either an angle(degrees), a percentage or as a gradient, in inches of rise per foot of run.		Have tasks where you can't see your level? Turn on the audio sounder and the SmartTool will 'beep' when it is either level or plumb.		The Smart Tool allows you to read angles in % slope to meet requirement for sewage connections, disability ramps and grading applications.

The SmartTool is also available as module as shown below. This can be used in applications where space is restricted, or where it is required to incorporate the module as part of another product. The Module shown below can be panel mounted by separating the front and back sections, and fixing either side of a panel cut-out. More details of how this is acheived are shown in the operating instructions.

1) On/Off - Press to toggle SmartTool power on and off
2) Hold - Push to 'Freeze' and 'Unfreeze' display
3) Listen and Level Audio - Push to toggle feature
4) Calibrate Button - See instructions for more details
5) ° % in/ft - Switches display between these units
6) Up/Down Arrows - Point toward level or plumb
7) Low Battery Symbol- Replace battery within 24 hours
8) Digital Display - Displays current reading
9) Indicates 'Listen and Level' audio feature is active
10) Indicates active measurement units (°, %, in/ft)
