We are a growing, successful and well established Sensor manufacturing company based in Croydon and with ambitious growth plans coming to fruition we are looking for motivated Machine Shop Technicians to join our expanding team. With your flexibility and enthusiasm you will support our busy production schedule whilst developing and improving your own machining skills.

With a passion for making high quality, high precision products and an understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and manufacturing work instructions you will be responsible for operating CNC machines, preparing materials and tooling for upcoming jobs ensuring the machines run smoothly to their full capacity. Loading and operating machines you will meet desired quantities and you will conduct in-process inspection – checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards on time.

A minimum of 3 years previous experience operating CNC machines or manufacturing processes is desirable, however if you have a great attitude, have a good level of Maths and English (verbal and written understanding) and are willing to learn and roll your sleeves up we would love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and bright CNC operator or technical college finisher, looking to take the next or first step in their career. We really encourage personal growth and progression so for the right candidates opportunities are available.

The machine shop runs early and late shifts and we are looking for flexible individuals who will be able to work the shifts as well as people who may be looking for and able to work overlapping the day shifts to support handovers but with the flexibility to work on any shift for holiday or training cover.

In return we will offer you a permanent role, working 39 hours per week. You’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary, the option to join our bi-annual bonus scheme (subject to eligibility) and 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.
