What is this role?

You will undertake the full range of manufacturing operations across our business ensuring the continuous production of our products.

Working flexibly, you will work with team members and line management across our Grinding, Vial Making, Bent Vials and Level Sensors departments producing level sensor vials and other precision glass vials to the highest possible quality standards ensuring they are on time and to the right specification.

You will be responsible for reading and understanding the works instructions, drawings and other manufacturing documentation as well as performing a wide range of manual and semi-automated operations.  Preparing production equipment, maintaining quality standards and recording production information in the production database will mean your days are varied and busy.

Who is the ideal candidate?

To be considered, you must have:

  • Ideally, 2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing/similar position
  • A good understanding of English – both written and oral
  • High level of manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage successfully a busy workload
  • Flexibility to work in different areas of the department in line with business needs
