Generating sales for a technology centred sensor manufacturing business by offering engineering solutions to OEM customers. We work across the world and across industries with a focus on the renewables sector. We will provide product and application training to someone with the right set of skills and experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and qualify high-value inbound sales leads, establish the needs of the customer and offer the best solution for their application
  • Provide a high level of application, product, and technical support to demonstrate the capabilities and competence of the company.
  • Convert qualified sales leads into sales orders and long-term OEM customers
  • Hand over new customer product development requirements to the engineering team and ensure it is completed to meet the customer’s requirements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between the sales and marketing activities.
  • Proactively explore sales opportunities within targeted markets and customers

Essential skills and experience required

  • Previous technical sales experience +2 years
  • Previous experience working with technical engineering products
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • High level of computer competency, including good manipulation of data with Excel and presentation
  • Higher-level qualification in a science or engineering subject preferred
  • Customer focussed
  • Able to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
  • Highly organised and work to a high output level.
  • Good communicator
  • Willing to acquire new skills and challenge yourself
