Level Developments are currently seeking two motivated  Production Technicians to join their highly successful team based in Croydon, Greater London. We are looking for Technicians who have a keen engineering interest in understanding how parts are made and wanting to develop in an engineering company as part of our Vial Manufacturing department.

What is this role?

The Production Technician role is to undertake the full range of manufacturing operations necessary in the production of our glass sensors.  This includes:

  • Reading and understanding the works instructions, product drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Setting up and operating a range of manual and automated production equipment.
  • Servicing and maintaining the production equipment.
  • Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Contributing to regular team meetings and make suggestions for improvements.
  • Undertaking continuous improvement projects.

Full in-house training will be given.

Who is the ideal candidate?

We are looking for candidates who have an interest in manufacturing and engineering and want an opportunity to learn new skills and expand their knowledge. We offer training and development opportunities for candidates with a can-do proactive approach.

 Essential Attributes

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing function (desirable)
  • Relevant qualification or previous experience in engineering
  • To have a good understanding of English – both written and oral
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Basic computer skills
  • High level of manual dexterity and hand eye coordination
  • Able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proactive and self-starting with a flexible, can-do approach
  • Able to communicate and work with individuals at all levels

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full time permanent role, Monday to Friday (39 hrs per week)
